The Sniff & Seek Enrichment Mat is a fabric foraging mat with dense folds that hide small pieces of food. Your dog works across the surface with their nose, finding food a little at a time instead of eating from a bowl.

Sniffing is one of the most naturally satisfying activities a dog can do, and it is one of the easiest to offer indoors. In the Pawy system this is a Level 1 activity that suits quiet afternoons and rainy days when a walk is not happening.

How to use

1. Scatter food on top of the mat for the first session so your dog gets a quick win. 2. Once they understand the game, tuck food deeper into the folds. 3. Let them work at their own pace and end the session while they are still interested. 4. Shake out and clean the mat after use.

Cleaning & Care

Shake out loose food after every session. Wash regularly following the care label supplied with the product and dry thoroughly before storing. Replace the mat if the fabric becomes torn or frayed.

Safety guidance

Select a product appropriate for your dog's size, age and behaviour. Supervise initial use, inspect the product regularly and remove it if damaged. Supervise dogs that chew or tug fabric, as loose material is a swallowing risk. Enrichment products do not replace exercise, training, veterinary care or professional behavioural advice.
