Scratchers

Scratching mats, pads and surfaces that give cats a legitimate target. Scratching is a need, not a behaviour problem — cats maintain claws, stretch and mark territory this way. Place scratchers where your cat already scratches and beside sleeping spots, since cats often scratch on waking.
