The main reason enrichment routines fall apart is friction. If loading a feeder means hunting through three cupboards, it will not happen on a busy Tuesday. A small dedicated station fixes that.
Pick the spot
Choose somewhere near where you prepare food but out of the main walkway — a low shelf, a drawer, or a single tub in the pantry.
What to keep in it
Two or three rotating products, a scoop for dry food, the soft food you use on lick mats, and a Mess-Free Enrichment Mat for containing the session. That is genuinely all you need.
Set the floor zone
Give the activity a consistent place to happen — the mat laid out in the same spot each time. Dogs settle into activities faster when the setup is familiar, and clean-up becomes one wipe instead of a sweep.
Keep a rotation, not a pile
Store the products not currently in use out of sight so they stay novel. See how to rotate enrichment products, and browse Enrichment Setup for the practical pieces.
