A good enrichment routine isn't about doing more — it's about spreading a few reliable activities across the week so every day has something in it.
The template
Monday: breakfast in a rolling feeder. Tuesday: evening lick mat session. Wednesday: supervised puzzle after work. Thursday: rolling feeder breakfast again. Friday: lick mat wind-down. Saturday: puzzle at a harder setting, plus a sniffy walk. Sunday: rest day — a normal bowl is fine.
Make it sustainable
Prepare mats the night before, keep feeders where you feed, and clean as you go. A routine you can run on your worst day is worth more than a perfect one you abandon.
